Painted Calipers

What are the benefits of painting my calipers?
Painted calipers offer a unique and visually striking way to customize your vehicle, instantly enhancing its aesthetic appeal. Whether you prefer bold or subtle colors, painted calipers can match your personal style and complement your car's existing color scheme. Beyond their cosmetic appeal, painted calipers can increase your vehicle's value and desirability, making it stand out from the crowd. Additionally, painted calipers can serve as a conversation starter and a point of pride for car enthusiasts. Painted calipers also make cleaning your wheels much easier, as brake dust and dirt are less likely to adhere to the smooth, painted surface. This can save you time and effort when maintaining your vehicle.

What does the process look like?
To paint calipers, we first clean the cast iron surface with a pneumatic needler or sand it if necessary to create a smooth and even surface for the paint to adhere to. Next, we apply BASF Metal etch primer, which is specifically designed for metal surfaces and helps ensure optimal paint adhesion. After the primer dries, we apply a base coat of automotive paint in the desired color. Finally, we finish the process with two coats of 2k solid clear coat to protect the paint and give it a glossy, durable finish. If desired, we can also add custom lettering or graphics to the calipers. This allows for further personalization and customization of your vehicle's appearance.

To ensure we can provide timely service, we kindly request that caliper painting appointments be booked in advance. The process typically takes 1.5 to 2 days to complete. Please call us at (410) 760-6487 to schedule your appointment.
