Headlight Resoration

Are the Headlights on your car turning yellow/brown? Is your night time driving visibility decreased? This is a very common problem with most cars these days. Most modern headlights are constructed of a Polycarbonate plastic instead of glass like in the olden days. This plastic is very vulnerable to UV and acid rain and in just a couple of years can fade severely.

What does the process look like?
Headlight restoration at our shop involves a meticulous process to restore clarity and brightness. We begin by gently sanding the headlight lenses with 320-grit sandpaper to remove the oxidized layer. We then progressively move to finer grits of 500, 800, and 1500 to smooth the surface. To polish the lenses to a brilliant finish, we employ a two-stage buffing process. Finally, we apply a protective paint protection film to shield the headlights from future damage and maintain their restored appearance for years to come.
